Founded in 2003, HugABull Advocacy & Rescue Society is a community committed to rescue, advocacy and outreach for bull breed dogs. We advocate for responsible ownership of all breeds and for evidence-based, breed-neutral laws in our communities.

We are based in Metro Vancouver but service the entire province of BC.

Make a difference to a dog in need by becoming its guardian angel. Our sponsorship program allows you to directly support the well-being of a dog in our program, and ultimately help him or her find a forever home.

While we receive incredible support from our partners, supportive veterinarians, and donors, there are significant costs to a rescue program. It is very rare for us to “break even” on a dog after the adoption fee is collected. From vet bills to training costs to day-to-day care, rescue is priceless but it is not free.

Depending on your gift, we are proud to provide the following benefits as a sponsor of a HugABull dog:

HugABull Angel

Donation of $100 or more

  • Recognition on the foster dog’s Adoptables listing

  • Regular updates on the dog’s progress

  • Notification once the foster dog has been adopted

HugABull Hero

Donation of $50 – $99

  • Monthly updates on the dog’s progress

  • Notification once the foster dog has been adopted

HugABull Helper

Donation of $25 – $49

  • Information about the dog you have sponsored

  • Notification once the foster dog has been adopted

Looking for a birthday gift idea? A $25 donation buys you the ultimate birthday present. Through our birthday sponsorship program, we will send a unique and special birthday greeting on your behalf. The greeting includes a personalized birthday e-card and some information on the HugABull dog that is being sponsored in the birthday boy or girl’s name.

To sponsor a HugABull dog, make a donation and indicate that you wish to direct it to sponsorship.

Please contact hugabull.sponsors@gmail.com with any any questions about our program, or to learn about the dogs currently in need of sponsors.
