what does it take to become a foster?

Fostering is a truly rewarding experience that can save a dogs life. If you're not quite ready for the full-time commitment of having a dog, fostering might be the perfect solution. Read the information below to learn more about our fostering program!

FOSTERING GUIDELINES
WHAT WE SUPPLY YOU WITH
TRAINING
SUPPORT
Fostering is an important component of responsible rescue. HugABull dogs are in foster care for a minimum of 30 days. During this time, foster parents will observe and provide feedback on behaviour, personality, likes, dislikes and anything else a potential adopter may need to consider.

There is no cost to becoming a foster home. HugABull provides food, supplies, veterinary care, and training for the dog in your care. We ask that you follow guidelines for safety and well-being of the dog, and partner with us to help the dog become as adoptable as possible.

There are many advantages to fostering! You can literally save a life and have the pleasure of a fantastic canine companion without the lifetime commitment.

As with our adoption process (see above) we do require an interview and homecheck for all potential fosters. This is for the safety of the dog, but also to to ensure that the dog is the best match possible for your lifestyle.
