Founded in 2003, HugABull Advocacy & Rescue Society is a community committed to rescue, advocacy and outreach for bull breed dogs. We advocate for responsible ownership of all breeds and for evidence-based, breed-neutral laws in our communities.

We are based in Metro Vancouver but service the entire province of BC.

Foster care is an integral part of our rescue program. It allows us to take needy dogs out of the shelter system, and is an important assessment tool to ensure the dog is matched with the right adoptive home.

As a volunteer-run organization, people are our most precious resource. Whether you wish to work hands-on with dogs, assist with events, or have a unique skill to lend our organization, we want to hear from you!

As a not-for-profit organization, cash and in-kind donations are needed and gratefully accepted.

It takes a village to rescue a dog! If you aren't able to foster or adopt, you can have a special impact on a dog's life by participating in our sponsorship program.
