Tootsie "Pop"

Ah, Tootsie - accurately named for her hilarious, feisty nature. We were asked to assist with her placement when this tiny girl ended up as a stray at a local shelter. She was so small, but so big in her own mind with the adult dogs! We thought she might have a little boxer mixed in there too, cause she had kind of a smooshy face. The night her new family came to meet her, her braveness went out the window! Kids - what are those small, little people anyway - very scary indeed?!?!?! She was shy and reserved, and wanted nothing to do with them, unless of course, they had cookies. I assured the new family that this truly wasn't our Tootsie, and they were sure she would come around. Oh, she did - 3 days later we got a report that her favourite game was "bite the unsuspecting toes!". Toots, now "Jaffa", spends her days hanging out at the family's bike shop working hard for the money, and spends her weekends keeping 3 kids busy walking and playing with her until she has a power nap attack.
