Samson

What's a big white muscle bound pittie boy to do when everyone won't look beyond the wire cage door? When we found Samsom, he was sitting in a dark Isolation area, with very little light or stimulation and a very bad infection. Samson had to have his entire tail amputated, due to the infection going untreated. We were asked "could we help him?" One look, and the Co-Director was hooked. He was exactly the style of dog that "people would be afraid of" yet was incredibly loving, well behaved and a complete bullie, giving out kisses to anyone who would take them. The shelter had had no interest in him for over a month, and space was running out. He was on his last days.

His assessment went so well that we decided to work in conjuction with the shelter, and placed Samson in one of their foster homes. We gave him a big "photo shoot" and the big head hammed it up all the way! Honestly, he was one of the best dogs to photograph that we've ever done (maybe he was a super model in his past life?!?!?) Almost immediately, he found a fabulous home out in a gourgeous forested area, where he goes for a daily run with his new parents, and enjoys being bossed around by his queen bee sister dog who constantly makes it known that he is "second dog" in the house!
