Clover

A Woman dropped Clover at Animal Control after finding her abandoned in a hotel room by her second owner. Although she was only a year old, this was the second time she'd been homeless. When Animal Control called to tell us about Clover and we heard how many times she'd been abandoned in such a short period, we were expecting a nightmarish dog. Instead, we found a lovely little cow-patcher waiting at the pound, simply in need of some basic training and socialization. Clover was shipped off to doggy boot-camp, a woman who was an obedience trainer was willing to foster her. She was in foster care for nearly two months, where she learned the ABCs of good doggy behavior, spent several days a week as a demo-dog in Petsmart (excellent socialization), and got to play with some good role-model dogs day in and day out. She then graduated to city life, living with another obedience trainer in Vancouver, who adopted her shortly thereafter. Today Clover goes to doggy daycare three days a week, where she is very popular with the staff and other clients, and is often about town with her new family, showing people what great dogs Pit Bulls really are.
