We called Caramel the "unlucky puppy" because we tried to place her twice and twice, within days, she came back to us (no fault of her own.) Just a matter of people not being prepared or realistic about a puppy. The kicker was there was nothing hard about Caramel at all - she was a dream foster puppy. At times, we wondered if this gem of a puppy would find someone to love her. She was, by FAR, the most photogenic puppy ever to cross our paths - even her obnoxious foster brother loved being in pictures with her!
But it turns out that Caramel was actually a VERY lucky puppy, because as fate would have it, her true forever owners were yet to come. We can safely say than when Jen and Eric met Caramel, we "knew" they were her people. Destiny had finally brought her a home. Caramel is now a tall leggy girl, and had we not seen her bullie mama, we would have thought maybe there was some giraffe in her somewhere! Whoever dad was, he sure must have been a tall, skinny dog!
