Bowdy
What a good-lookin' pup our Bowdy was! We just couldn't believe it when we found this little guy hanging out in a city pound at five weeks old. He'd been found, tired and shivering, in a gated community just days after Christmas. Clean and well-fed, this little guy was obviously someone's unwanted Christmas gift, a testament to the reasons animal shelters and rescue groups discourage giving pets as gifts. We quickly got Bowdy into a foster home where he could be socialized with other dogs, to make up for time lost with his litter mates. The foster family fell completely in love with the little bundle of energy, and were both happy and sad to see him go to his forever home. Bowdy's new family are first time Pit Bull owners, and have been completely converted by Bowdy; so much so that they hope to eventually adopt another Pit Bull. Bowdy goes to puppy kindergarten classes, and is at the top of his class. His family says about him "We are really happy with him, he is really smart for his age. Thanks for the gift of a lifetime!"
